In order to achieve better air quality, as well as prolong the service life of the filter element, combinations of these filters should be used, installing them sequentially: first a pre-filter, then a fine filter, a microfilter and, finally, an activated carbon filter. The pre-filter is used for coarse purification of compressed air, as an input element in finer filtration lines, it is usually installed at the inlet of dehumidifiers, vacuum pumps and pneumatic actuators. The fine filter is used to protect pipelines in air preparation systems, in surface treatment equipment, in vacuum pumps, pneumatic motors. It is installed in front of a refrigerator-type dryer and at the outlet of adsorption dryers, it is also used as a pre-filter for a microfilter. The microfilter is used to protect control systems, in pneumatic transport, painting systems, as well as as an input filter for adsorption dryers. The activated carbon filter is used in the pharmaceutical industry, dentistry, in photo labs, in packaging lines and in electroplating installations.
